The staff were super helpful and friendly, the view from our room was jaw-dropping, the pool was great, and we loved dining al fresco while watching the sun go down. The breakfast/a la carte menu was mind-blowingly good.

The hotel is good value for money and both clean and confortable.
It is quite remote from the village of Paul Do Mar, its restaurant is overly expensive, the parking lot is way too small and only 1 lift was working. Finally there is no Wi-Fi access which in a 4 star hotel is a bit of a shame.

- Very spacious room and balcony, with fully equipped kitchen
- Bathroom could use a renewal - Depending on what you like, the location can be a downside, Paul Do Mar is a small and quiet village with not so many tourists.

I had an amazing time staying at this hotel. The location was perfect, just 50 meters away from the ocean with a great view. The surrounding area was so calm and peaceful, it was the ideal place to relax and unwind. The hotel itself was built between the dramatic cliffs and the ocean, making it even more special. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, from the cleaning staff to the food service personnel. They were always ready to assist with any requests or questions I had.
I highly recommend this place to everyone. The only downside was the ineffective air conditioning, but it didn't detract from the overall experience.

We have seen many hotels and residentials in Madeira and even stayed in one of the 5 star hotels after moving (for location reason) .... and really we always felt pitty that the Paul Do Mar was faar west for discovery of the eastern part because we found nothing alike! We liked the quietness, only the sea at night; the spacious apartement and the sea view from the room with its romantic sunsets. Not even for triple the price we found something alike. Apartment itself (size and interior) and the view was unique for us, inspite of seeing much of the highly recommended hotels and residential (€ 100 ++) in Madeira!! After booking 3 nights, we finally stayed 7 nights with seeing other hotels inbetween;-) because we were looking for shorter travel distances to the east.
Disadvantage is only, that its so remote, that there are not so many places of interrest (restaurants, shops ...). But two nice bars are arround the corner!

Great location, although it's at the far end of the village. Desk staff are friendly and helpful. Resolved a car issue with their assistance. Ocean view rooms are spacious and comfortable. Modern restaurant with reasonable prices. Heated pool and plenty of bars nearby.

The hotel had a charming and traditional decor, with beautiful paintings and decorations that gave it a cozy feel. The general areas were well-maintained and clean, providing a comfortable atmosphere for a senior like myself. The hotel's accessibility for senior people was commendable, with ramps and elevators available to ease movement around the hotel.
I would have appreciated if the children working there could have provided more assistance for senior guests, especially with carrying luggage or offering assistance when needed.

I had a fantastic experience staying at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location below a cliff provided breathtaking views of the ocean. The room was enormous and had a large balcony, perfect for enjoying the stunning surroundings. I was impressed with the quality of the room amenities, including the comfortable bed and the clean and modern bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. I also appreciated the convenience of the on-site restaurant, where I had a delicious buffet breakfast.
I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Spending New Year's holiday at this hotel was an unforgettable experience. The ocean view from the room was breathtaking and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet had a wide range of options. The hotel is located in a peaceful area and is perfect for those who want to relax. The pool area was also a great spot to unwind and enjoy the sun.
The WIFI connection was slow, making it difficult to use. , some parts of the hotel were a bit outdated and in need of renovation.

Great value for money and amazing ocean views from the spacious balcony. the heated pool was a bonus and perfect for a relaxing swim. Staff were friendly and welcoming.
Limited options for dining, lack of variety in the meals offered. the location was quite isolated and required a bit of driving to reach other attractions.
